Before diving into the detailed steps for setting up webhooks in Onvocado, let’s explore the unique capabilities and advantages that webhooks bring to your operations:

Cohesive Brand Presence

Replace Onvocado logos, colors, and tab icons with your own assets so every login, dashboard, and email reflects your company’s identity. Keep your users immersed in a consistent brand narrative from first click to daily engagement.

Trust Through Familiarity

Presenting your customers with a domain, favicon, and interface they recognize builds confidence. A branded environment reassures clients that insights and billing originate from your team—not a third-party vendor—reducing friction in adoption.

Tailored Launchpad

Custom domains let you guide users through a branded entry point, anchor single sign-on flows, and align marketing collateral with the exact URL cohorts use. The result is a seamless journey that supports onboarding, retention, and expansion conversations.

Before You Start

  • Confirm your subscription includes the white-label feature. If you see an upsell banner on the Settings → Organization page, upgrade under Settings → Billing first.
  •  Make sure you are an organization admin; only admins can edit branding and domains.
  • Decide which assets you will upload:
      - Logo: JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP up to 2MB. Minimum height 64px is recommended for sharp results.
      - Favicon: ICO, PNG, or SVG up to 1MB (square images work best).
      - Primary color: Provide a HEX value such as `#002BBA`. This color drives call-to-action buttons and highlights.

Step 1 – Update Your Branding

1. Sign in and open Settings → Organization.
2. Under Branding, click Upload from Device to pick a logo. The preview refreshes immediately; use Remove if you want to clear the current image.
3. Upload a favicon. Browsers display this image in tabs; Onvocado accepts `.ico`, `.png`, and `.svg`.
4. Set your primary color using the color picker or by entering a HEX code. The sample button shows how the color renders in-app.
5. Click Save Branding. Behind the scenes we store the assets securely and apply the new color across the app. Refresh the page or open the dashboard in a new tab to confirm.

Tips
- If you update several items at once, you only need to click Save Branding once.
- To revert to the default logo or favicon, click Remove next to the corresponding asset and save.
- Changes propagate immediately for authenticated users. Public landing pages cache assets for up to 5 minutes; clear your browser cache if you do not see the update right away.

Step 2 – Connect a Custom Domain (Optional)

A custom domain replaces `app.onvocado.com` with something you control, such as `app.yourcompany.com`. Each organization can connect one domain.
1. From Settings → Organization, scroll to Custom Domains and enter the subdomain you plan to use (for example, `app.yourcompany.com`). Click Add Domain
2. We generate DNS records you must add with your DNS provider:
   - TXT verification
     - Name: `_onvocado.yourdomain.com` (or the value shown in the UI)
     - Value: the verification token displayed in the table.
   - CNAME routing
     - Name: the exact domain you entered (e.g., `app.yourcompany.com`)
     - Target: the CNAME host we supply (looks like `xxxx.cloudfront.net`).
   - HTTPS validation (CNAME)
     - Appears after TXT verification succeeds. Add this CNAME exactly as shown to complete SSL issuance.
3. After creating the TXT record, return to Onvocado and click Verify DNS. DNS propagation can take a few minutes; keep the page open and retry until the status reads *TXT verified*.
4. Once verification succeeds, add the HTTPS validation CNAME (if provided) and wait a minute. Then click Activate to finish.
5. Update any bookmarks or team documentation to point to your new domain. Existing Onvocado links will continue to work.

Domain Troubleshooting

- Verification fails most often because the TXT record is missing or has a typo. Ensure the record name matches what Onvocado displays—some DNS hosts append the root domain automatically.
- DNS changes may take up to an hour depending on your TTL. You can re-run Verify DNS at any time.
- If activation fails, confirm the CNAME target is live with `dig <yourdomain> CNAME` or a DNS checker. Once ready, retry activation.
- To swap domains, remove the existing entry first, then add the new domain.
